These unprecedented times have brought about hardships none of us expected. Trauma knows no boundaries of nationality, gender, age, social class, or race. Whether it was the loss of a job, a struggle with mental illness, the loss of a loved one, or any other unique trauma, there are so many in our community who need healing. If you have the heart to help others in this area of ministry, Confluence has an incredible opportunity for you: our Trauma Healing program, a collaboration with the American Bible Society, is offering an Online Initial and Advanced Equipping Sessions to educate and train those interested in helping others through the healing process. In the Initial Equipping Session, participants learn basic Biblical and mental health principles related to trauma care, while the Advanced Equipping Session hones the skills of those who have already attended an Initial Session and completed their practicum (leading at least two healing groups).
